Super simple build. Dried kelp blocks last basically forever as furnace fuel and the kelp grows fast enough that you are never waiting. Underrated and underbuilt farm.

Built this alongside a smelting array and it has been completely self-sufficient for months. Not the flashiest farm in Minecraft but incredibly practical.
